To allow an adequate level of robustness in freesurfer's derivatives' post-processing, it would be helpful if they were stores in a semi-BIDS manner. Maybe something like this:

freesurfer
- sub-
  - ses-
    <input T1w image's name>
    
    ...
  - ...
