Mechanisms infuser consumes 16 redstone for 1 redstone ore

the questbook mentions 8, so i was wondering if thats intended.

so far i burned through two stacks of redstone while recycling the mined redstone to get more ore in hopes for a crystal with a fortune 3 pick, but no luck.

by the way, the questbook should recommend making the hand mill from extra utils instead of the solar panels first.

reason is, that it only consumes 1 redstone crystal to make, and generate enough grid power to use the resonator, while you need to spend 3 crystals to craft enough solars to run the machine.

so the hand mill is considerably cheaper. once the resonator is available, redstone ore is much easier produced directly from smooth stone instead of a complicated crafting process to make gunpowder, combine it with sugar, cook it up with blood, and then combine it with cobble.

once you can craft redstone ore much cheaper directly in the resonator, it should be a lot less complicated and wasteful to get more crystals and upgrade to other means of extra util grid power gen.

i burned like 3 stacks of redstone in the mechanism machine until i got lucky and gained 2 crystals out of the ores i produced. it makes more sense to spend those 2 to craft more redstone ore cheaper and faster, than to dump another 3 stacks into the creation of ore in the mechanism machine.
