Anvil Doesn't Work? #65

I created some enchanted books then tried to craft an anvil to apply them to items and noticed it was called something else but the recipes were still there so I crafted it anyway but I am not able to access the anvil. Is this intentional? Am I supposed to use a machine late game to apply enchanted books?

There is a Botania ritual called the Mana Enchanter, that can be used to transfer enchantments from book to other items. You can find a description in the Lexica Bonatia chapter Natural Apparatus -> Enchanting with Mana. Use the Jaded Amaranthus to get Mystical Flower to set up the Ritual. Due to anvil recipes being visible in JEI using the deadweight, I would still consider this a bug, but there is a way to work around it.

why do you close the thread if I write "I would still consider it a bug"? The problem with the Botania ritual is, that it only allows enchanting books to unenchanted items. it doesn't allow you to combine enchantments like Unbreaking 2 + Unbreaking 2 => Unbreaking 3.
