I believe that at a part of the game where your supposed to get all the tinkers construct thing you are stuck because you cant get glass and the only way other then to use a complex machine is to use the the smeltery but to get the tank for that you need glass and its in a loop which I'm stuck in and don't want to go into such a machine just for glass
