Support for the MapsGL layer by Google.
What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?
Immensely enhance mapping detail.
What would be required to achieve this goal?
- Optimization of the multi-layering code (as can be seen with satellite
hybrid; it is currently too slow for daily use) [optional]
- Use MapsGL technology (quickest implementation), Update 2d plotting with
positioning control code (fake 3d, less work), or introduce 3d plotting
(depends on coder experience, this could be fastest or slowest).
