Doesn't seem to work on Android 2.2 (FroYo) #68

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what ROM?
MarketEnabler v.3.0.8 (fixes issue #21) on Paul's rooted Android 2.2

Please provide any additional information below.
When pressing "fake this provider now" everything seem to work fine, and I
don't get any message that it didn't work or whatsoever. However it doesn't
work because I can still not see any payed apps.

Attach a logcat output if possible.

Paul hasn't included busybox binaries, just the su app.
I would have needed to add a check for busybox binaries :-/
Install busybox binaries manually

If you have installed, tell me and I will investigate if the Market itself
changed
how it checks which provider you are on...

Btw. another thing would be if you try it with serges branch (MarketAccess) I'm
not
sure if he completely removed busybox dependencies but it would be worth to try
it.

I've user a root fix by Cyanogen which includes busybox.
I think Market-Enabler works as it should now. It's just that somehow I can't
see
protected apps in the market. I can see just a few payed apps.

hmmmm... that sounds like a build.props problem of the rom.
I could see all paid apps that I tested but reverted now to my nandroid backup
as
froyo has Problems with my SD and this leads to FC with a lot of apps ;-/

I Just tested with Paul's froyo and cyans quickroot additions and it works.
Do you still have this issue?
Paul mentioned something at the beginning when the update zip leaked that
paid/protected apps don't work because google didnt add froyo build.prop to the
whitelist but I think this is fixed since at least saturday...
I will close this defect but we can reopen if you still have problems.

About the build.prop issue I found the following thread on XDA:

Maybe this can be a help if you have problems
