Tue Oct 15, 2013 11:06 PM post option to automatically turn img tags into thumb tags by Nemo Hoes:

you know, the post options below the text entry field that has disable bbcode and disable smilies and stuff
you'd be able to set the default setting to on or off in the board settings in the user cp just in case you don't like it
facepunch has this option and it makes scrolling through threads with a lot of images much more bearable

i don't really know how to get more detailed so, example time

only if there's a user option to disable the functionality. I agree generally, but I hate how our thumb tag works

I honestly don't understand why the IMG tag exists when thumb exists. The only thing that might be a problem is smaller images perhaps?

uh whoops i forgot to mention this would probably only be for quotes (as the example implies)

i guess if it's only for quotes then that's fine. My issues with the way the thumb tag works wouldn't matter as I can just look at the original post
