There are a couple of things which i dislike. For example:
Implementing the .sh script. There are several ways to run this script, for example with containers, systemctl, cronjob etc. I don't want to force users to use a script with a Python path already applied. Users might for example rather use a virtualenv with a shell script. I feel like this will bring more confusion to the table rather then letting users figure out their own way of running the Python script.
Giving the option to disable SSL verification. I would rather not implement this and instead focus on a security mindset of having decent certificates. Either use proper signed certs (which can be easily rotated and used for free nowadays) or use HTTP.
Some adjustments are wrong, such as a vs. an in front of SNMP.
What benefit is there to exept the .idea folder for everyone? Not everyone will have this folder.
All in all i do appreciate some suggestions. However i won't merge this PR in its current state.
