Bug description
Using TNE for 1.20 or 1.20.1 causes players to intermittently get authentication servers are down error on login.
Minecraft login error: "Authentication servers are down. Please try again later."
Console says:

Please try again later, sorry!Paste bin is a little different than the one I copied, got one with my admin account and my buddy in another state having the same error.
How to reproduce
Get the latest build of paper, #18 Agree to eula. Put TNE jar in plugins directory. Start server. Might need to try logging in a few times to get the error.
Not on hosting site, in house server. Only had this issue when servers were actually down and one time where it was papers fault. I have narrowed it down to this plugin. No other plugins are causing players this problem.
Sorry if I'm reiterating too much. Just trying to answer questions before they're asked.
