Crashes on older versions of Forge #103

Is this because I'm on a too old version of forge or something else? Unfortunately this is the newest version that my favourite mod can play on, forge version: 14.23.4.2759. I wouldn't be mentioning any of this but I swear I used to be able to run the newer updates of this mod on the older version of forge mentioned previously. The latest forge version for 1.12.2 is 1.12.2 - 14.23.5.2860

You should always keep Forge on the latest version, versions below it have an extremely dangerous remote code execution exploit in log4J.
