Picker not working (CCA 3.1.4; Windows 10 Enterpr 21H2) #264

Open orangehandler opened 2 years ago

orangehandler commented 2 years ago

Describe the bug Clicking the eyedropper tool does not activate the picker tool and is only able to enter colour information manually. We requested IT installs this tool for ease of use via the eyedropper picker tool, so unable to use it.

Desktop (please complete the following information): CCA 3.1.4 Windows 10 Enterprise Version 21H2. OS build 19044.1949 (64-bit)

To Reproduce Launch CCA Click either the foreground or background eyedropper tool. Nothing happens

Expected behavior Eyedropper tool activates, can then move over colour in UI and click to set fore or background colour for testing.

Screenshots N/A

Additional context Running on enterprise system with permissions locked down by IT. If there is a setting that causes this error, please let me know and I will get IT to resolve it at their end. E.g. we have no ability to run "auto updates" etc. everything has to go via IT for security reasons.

Any feedback on this issue? Updated to v3.2.0 and seeing the same behavior on Windows 11.

I'm afraid not. I still can't reproduce it.

@orangehandler did you happen to find a solution to this? I’m having the exact same issue.

To keep you on the loop. I've identified the problem (using old x32 libraries), so the picker element require a complete rebuild.
