Incorporate Color Blindness Simulation Screen Convert #81

Could there be the possibility of adding the Color Blindness Simulation Screen Convert in a future release? The current version just has the colors but doesn't allow the option to see what the artwork would actually look like. I work for a testing company and we use that feature greatly to check our artwork in the various color blindness simulations. It is great to switch between the two features instead of relying on another program.

^x1000. I need a simulation view for two reasons:

  1. I need to see a simulation of on-screen color contrast for varied color vision deficiencies for content I create. When it comes to maps, charts, and graphs, a mere single "pick a color combo" doesn't meet the need.
  2. You might be astounded that the effect on content creators and managers of actually showing the effect of proposed color combinations. I have done this with webinar training and with in-room projection for briefings. In one case a manager and his accessibility skeptic employee were viewing a side-by-comparison of a 256-color chart normally and as someone with Protanopia sees it (screen cap from Colour Contrast Anaylser). The manager asked his employee, "Do those look different to you?" The employee replied, "Yes. The one on the left has all colors. The one on the right looks like shades of white-gray-black and yellow and blue." The manager then said, "They look the same to me." The employee looked astounded! The manager has Protanopia. The screen cap from Colour Contrast Analyser's "Screen" option nailed down the accessibility issue right then and there. One more accessibility believer.

We desperately need that feature in CCAe too. Please prioritize this enhancement to CCAe (return the older CCA feature).

The Screen Convert in the old CCA (2.x) was very useful, so this feature is very important. Also the "Select image" and "Select window" should be added in a later version.

The "Select Image" feature in the old CCA allowed only to load BMP and JPEG files. Please allow to load also other formats like PNG (standard format in Windows).
