Default to gh-pages branch #46

Since all of the content resides in the gh-pages branch, it would be helpful to make it the default branch you see when coming to the repos.

The README in master could also be updated to let interested users know that most of the work is happening in the gh-pages branch.

I've set the gh-pages branch as master and updated the README in gh-pages. @Heydon, is there anything relying on the master branch now? If not it can be deleted.

As the master only contained the readme and cname (and since we're not hosting on github, the latter isn't needed), I removed that branch
