latest.log Full log file attached, couldn't include the whole thing in the template but I'm guessing that the OpenGL errors are what's relevant.
I'm on version 0.9.3 but I had a similar issue where my GPU would lock up cause my main monitor to freeze (this only happened with Minecraft in general for me) so I had to hard restart my laptop but after reinstalling nvidia drivers fixed the issue so maybe you could try that
Yeah I just tried upgrading my drivers and no change.
I think that it's a windows gamebar issue, there was something in the event viewer about it. When I tried uninstalling gamebar, as soon as I got into the game I got a popup asking me to go to the Microsoft store to open a "ms-gaming overlay" link. At that point the game crashed. I'm going to keep debugging
I would recommend just disabling game bar from startup instead of removing it since it breaks stuff and restart also maybe check if reinstalling the pack works and don't forget to backup your saves
yeah nothing is really working, I tried updating the pack to 0.9.3 and disabling/reinstalling gamebar and had the same results. I will try it with a different launcher (using prism rn), but if that doesn't work, I will give up on getting it to run on windows. I have linux dual-booted so I'll just run it with that.
Hopefully linux does well for you, I also dual boot Linux and the pack works great on linux for me so wish you the best of luck
Issue Summary
After around 20 minutes of playing, minecraft freezes. Then all other windows on my PC freeze up and I can't control+alt+delete to the task manager. At some point the taskbar and desktop just go black and I'm forced to hard restart my laptop.
This has happened twice back to back
Reproduction steps
Play monifactory normally for 20 minutes.
Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but the first time I was using a mining hammer and the crash started around when I reached deepslate. The second time I was also mining closer to the surface, and accidentally pressed a button that brought up the oculus shader selection. I don't have any shaders installed but the game froze right then.
Playing on Windows 11 ASUS ROG Zephyrus with an Rtx 3070. 8GB allocated. Running the 9.0.0 release.
I know "It doesn't work on my PC" can be hard to debug. If you have some fixes that you want to try or you want to add more logs I'm happy to test it out.
