Track other social media sites for better analysis. #14

I'm not completely clear what is going to gained by just monitoring one site.

I feel for these results to be insightful, other social media sites need to be tracked. It seems to me Facebook with their groups had way more impact on the Capital Hill violence.

I think that much of the difficulty with that is that the other social media sources (generally) strip EXIF data off of videos / pictures, so we're not able to accurately geo-pin the videos.

Parler was singular in so far as we are able to retrieve EXIF data from all of the videos uploaded, so we can geo-pin them.

Has anyone run exiftool on any of the other archives (such as this one ) in order to see if there are any available with GPS data attached? If so, then I think those could be added -- but getting GPS pins for each video is really the limiting factor.

Oh that's just awesome. I'll use this to feed the facial recognition algorithms Im cooking
