Normal:

A random player gets the hot potato
If he doesn't hit a player in the next X seconds, he is out
If he hits another player, the hit player now has the hot potato and has to do the same
The last player standing wins

Inverse:

A random player gets the cold potato
If he gets hit, the shooter now gets the cold potato
If a player holds the cold potato for X seconds, he wins
