5 years ago The reasoning for them all being set to ClassD with latejoin is because it's the only class that can get away with being spawned later into the game than other classes without impacting the game in a major way. If you were to have an SCP 939 spawn later than other SCPs, it means that any Scientist or ClassD who has found the major scientist card are more likely to run into them in heavy containment, thus getting them killed. As for interfering with gamemodes, i don't have much experience with them outside of blackout, and my own one, neither of which work with gamemode manager, so i was sort of unaware about any issues (should have thought about it now that i look back upon it).
It makes this mod incompatible with all gamemodes and makes no sense to be here. If people want late joins they can install https://github.com/storm37000/SCPSL_Smod_LaterJoin which contains a much smarter code than setting them all as classD.
