Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Bluez ime finds zeemote js1 as device
2.Says 'there was a problem pairing with the bluetooth device'
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
That the device is paired. As above.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.1 / htc desire on 2.2 (stock) 2.29.405.5

Please provide any additional information below.

Have tried selecting ime prior t pairing says - 'error invalid call, no address
specified' - would be great to donate but cannot even get past first stage of
process, review on market suggest htc desire is pairable? Help appreciated.

Have you tried pairing it with the standard android pairing process?
Simply go to the home screen, press menu, then settings.
Now select wireless and networks, and then Bluetooth settings.
If the device is on the list, long press and select cancel pairing.
Now try to scan for devices, and select the zeemote.
The passcode is 0000.
If you cannot enter a passcode, you need to disable the Bluez - IME, long press
the text field and select change input method.

Once your device is correctly paired, try going back to Bluez-IME and select
the device from the list without scanning for it.

Let me know if it works for you.
