Few suggestions to make this App perfect #14

Fix the bug with the Largest (9 contacts) widget

Inside of the App I can select 9, but inside of the widget "Choose" stops working after adding 6 contacts.

Add filter (Search) inside of the App

I have a lot of contacts, scrolling to find all of them is a pain in this ass. Filtering the contacts when adding would help a lot.

Match the Colors of the iOS (completed)

Default green doesn't look good, and it's great that there is an option to match the OS colors. But, I think that should be the default. Also, gray and dark gray you are using don't match the rest of the iOS apps. Take the "Screen Time" as an example, and match the lower part background color with your background colors.

Make things more "compact"

The old iOS widget was packing 8 contacts. The Siri Suggestions one is packing 8 apps inside two rows. It could be an option, or a default thing to have 4 contacts in the smallest widget, 8 in the mid sized, and 16 in the largest one. Title is unnecessary (Favorites), you can even get rid of the background all all together (if that's possible) just like Siri Suggestions, removing shadows behind the circles will make things look cleaner and give you more space.

Conclusion

That's everything I have to say. First problem, the bug with contacts is the biggest problem; Others would be nice to have. All in all, I like this app. Keep up the great work. I'll rate it 5/5 as soon as you fix the bug 😁

Thanks so much for the feedback!

About the large widget bug – I have no idea what's causing it. I can't even replicate it on any of my own devices. Does it just not show anything when you select "Choose..." in the widget configuration panel?

Adding a search bar and better sorting is on my radar. Goal is to get that out with 1.1.

The widget background color is a weird one. Some Apple widgets (e.g. Screen Time, like you mentioned) have pure black backgrounds in dark mode. But others (e.g. Calendar) have the dark gray I used. The pure black does look better though. I'll change that with 1.0.1.

Unfortunately the small widget can't have more than one contact. Visually, it works, but small widgets only support one tap target so it'd just be a mess. I'll look into adding "compact" versions of the medium and large widgets though.

Thanks again! I'm glad you like the app.
