Submitting to CRAN would be great! In the meantime, I think there are a couple of other actions that could aid discoverability:
pkgdown
.blogdown
package, which uses Hugo as a static generator and R Markdown to write the contents. Then you can submit the page info to Awesome Blogdown.loanportr
business cases using dummy data.sparklyr

In order for the
loanportr
package to have significant traction in the R community, we need to submit it to CRAN.Submitting to CRAN is a lot more work than just providing a version on GitHub, but the vast majority of R users do not install packages from GitHub, because CRAN provides discoverability, ease of installation and a stamp of authenticity.
