I think this is a good idea, having mailing lists that the membership
can create and add/delete themselves. However, having it as a part of the
main PAF website means a maintenance/authorization headache.
I'm talking to someone about a member's website, that will be referenced by
pacific-aikido.org, but secured and managed by a separate members group of
admin. The site would be passworded, containing member's articles, photos,
and
we can add, mailing lists.

what is the maintenance headache? you are not planning to moderate all the
mailing
lists personally, are you?

please update this bug with information about how to use the mailing lists. so
far
as i know, everybody is still cobbling informal lists together out of whatever
addresses they happen to have in their address books.
