in
that moment. I think I've chenaged the theme to tangerine and then reinstalled

also 0.3.1 over 0.3.1 fail and this is a very big problem considering that
0.3.1 is
considered a good a release.

also 0.2.4 over 0.2.4 fails. I think that this version of gnome 2.24.1 is
incompatible with most o f my releases

also 0.2.3 over 0.2.3 gives an error I really don't know what to do.

this issue is related with issue 6 "Installation failed"

I've tried also with the first release 0.217 the package without name. But it
fails
again. It also make disappear the top and bottom bar of gnome until I removed
the
.icon folder. I think this is a great bug of the new gnome. But I'll better
check
some other recently updated themes and try to install them.

I've asked one of my friend to repeat the same reinstallation of 0.4.3 ove gnome
2.24.1 on ubuntu intrepid and the english message says
Installation for theme "UltimateGnome" failed.
Can't move directory over directory.
I'm trying to find a good updated theme on gnomelook an see if this problem is
only mine.

On gnomelook i've found this theme
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/ClearlooksOSX?content=69487
The author has release a fixed version for Intrepid (gnome 2.24.1)
but I think it only fix some icons and not this reinstallation problem.

I've created a bug on bugzilla hoping they could help me solve this problem.

Unfortunately the bug I've reported was similar to another bug so It has been
merged
into another bug report:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=562371
The problem here is that this is considered an enhancement report (not a bug).
This means that no improvement will be made for it (not immediately).

They said that the problem has been fixed but it will be released only in the
2.26
version of gnome that probebly will be out on march.
