Load'ing issues/lockups caused by updating the dynamicheader every second

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load http://<x-wrt>/cgi-bin/webif/info.sh
2. chmod -x /www/cgi-bin/webif/getdata.sh
3. Repeat step 1

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Load: 0.13, 0.26, 0.17 (or lower)
Before step 2 I was seeing loads of 3 to 4

What version of the product are you using?
The latest brcm-2.4 snapshot, from
http://downloads.x-wrt.org/xwrt/kamikaze/snapshots/brcm-2.4/no_pppoe/,
dated 04-Jan-2009 20:46.
