Most work already done (the Gem exists); still some form-object trash to take out and the reproducible-build script to update. As with the last several releases, this revision Gem replaces a previously-existing use case which persisted data directly; a no-no in our current architecture which gets this marked as a bug-fix issue.

The Gem was already used by our new-setup-and-test.sh bundle/test process; we really got confused redoing 14.0. 😩
