disconnect after connection to fics server #773

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. just connect to fics server

Hello,

Thanks for reporting this problem.

At first glance it looks to be related to the same problem that has been 
identified in issue #774, but there is no way to be sure with the information 
that you provided (that is: the list of games at the time of error)

If it is a symptom of the same issue, there is no workaround at this point in 
time. The good news is that the problem is related to actual names of players, 
so as long as no player has a "(" in their name, the problem should not occur.

In case the error comes up again, would it be possible to provide us with a 
list of all active games at that time?

You could also try the latest version of the sources? (the wiki explains how to 
do that) I just checked in a fix that might also solve your issue.
