Youtube autoplay doesn't work. #3596

Script version 5.6

Describe the bug Video will end and just stay like that without playing the next track. I tested this, autoplay works fine when the script is turned off. Also there is no autoplay button to toggle when using the script. So basically you have to manually click on the next video.

Expected behavior It should autoplay next videos just like youtube does normally.

I have this same problem. I also noticed the button to skip forward or to move to the next video in a playlist is missing. Is the button there for you?

For me, it’s just the play button. IMG_6990

i think that the trick of the code is that we are already at the end of the video (as you can see the name of the video and some suggested videos when u pause) and somehow the video can still be played, so I think the trade is that we cannot autoplay anymore

Here is happening the same. I'm using the version v3. It's been working for a while.

That sounds like it might be exactly how they’re doing it. I decided to follow the advice I’d seen in other issue posts here, and downgrade to 5.3. That has its own problems but I’m going to stick with it for now, as I like to have the skip and autoplay buttons.

I recommend you to use the v3 version. It`s working well.

Do you know how to revert back to the v3 update? I don't see an option anywhere.
