YouTube is using embedded video format for some reason #4033

Describe the bug YouTube is showing a 'watch this on YouTube' button, indicating that the video is replaced with an embed and will not show controls like theatre mode. To fix this, I have to downgrade to v4.0. This also affects the YouTube Enhancer extension.

OS: Windows 10
Browser: chrome
Version: 126.0.6478.126

5.3 doesn't do this (you can click the Raw in the upper right to download). youtube will sometimes detect it on prerolls, but you can refresh a time or 2 and get past that
