I am facing the same issue even after trying to reinstall. The code still doesn't seem to work.

If you are looking for a solution, I installed Brave Browser on my PC and phone just for YouTube. It is working well.

5.3 (click Raw in upper right to downgrade) still somewhat works, it'll block you on the prerolls (refresh twice), and sometimes on midrolls, but if you hit skip on the longer ones before youtube catches it, it should still be alright. sucks that we're stuck with old, barely functioning ones or buggy, broken new ones
