Are larger block palettes possible? #12

I'll make an edit since I'm less sleepy.

I've only built a few things so far but this game is really fun once you get a hang of the controls. The only glaring issue I've found is the limited block palette. I know that the calculator this was designed for isn't that powerful but not having slabs is pretty rough. Stairs would be equally important but the game doesn't seem to store rotational data so that's fine enough. I think glass is also pretty important but I understand if it's not a fun time to port that into the game. I love this game and I plan to make more stuff and upload it online but the block palette does limit me.

Is there any way to add more blocks into the game? I'm loving it so far but having a slab, a stair and maybe wool would be extremely nice to have. Glass has been another thought as well. I guess I'd be going too far with more wood variety since iirc even classic didn't have that so it'd be fine to not have that.

I remember that you mentioned memory limits the whole time but if it's possible that'd be cool to know. If not then I'll consider making my own project. Thanks for making this, building stuff and uploading it to YouTube is quite fun.

I understand where you're coming from, but TheScienceElf said in his video that unfortunatly, there isn't room for more. If you want you could try to design a compression scheme, but without that it is impossible. Glass would be theoretically easy(if you could get more blocks into the game) as the shadows and water do a similar thing.

I say, if you know C++, just give it a try and see what happens. Maybe there's just enough RAM left to make it work.

Fine, I'll give it a try and give you an update later.

to be clear, I didn't mean "you" give it a try, I meant OP (ghost) should give it a try. (does anyone on GitHub say "OP" or is that just a reddit/forum thing?)

Wait. The ghost account takes the place of accounts that are deleted, sooo now this issue is just stuck open unless @TheScienceElf closes it. Also TheScienceElf if you are reading this please merge my PR(#7 )
