Thinking of writing a bit about all of the companies in the supply chain that are aligning with new governement policy on new nuclear in 2006. http://www.amec.com/documents/investors/presentations/2013/credit-suisse-energy-conference.pdf
Thinking of writing a section on either EDF and their Contract for Difference, or one of the eight companies highlighted this morning who have been given renewable Contracts for Difference. CfDs basically give a strike price or a set price of return removing long-term cost risks due to fluctuating electricity prices. Companies that are positioned to take advantage of CfDs could potentially make a loss, but will more than likely make significant profits.
