IDK if this project is still active at all, but if so, probably a good chunk of reverse engineering/code cleanup could be handled with the observation that Minecraft Classic was built using noa-engine and Babylon.js. This also leads to the interesting possibility of eventually being able to create an updated version of MCC using the latest version of noa.
