What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'm trying to install the program fully in english, but instead I get a mix of 
Portuguese (the language of my windows) and english

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7, version 3.9.3

Please provide any additional information below.
I'd like the possibility of choosing the language of the program. L5R looks 
especially bad translated, IMO.

you can turn off translation by editing the Windows Registry.

open regedit as administrator then go to 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OpenNingia\L5RCM\
( or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\OpenNingia\L5RCM\ ) 

and change the value "use_machine_locale" from 1 to 0
