Live performance mode/theme #1

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I'm looking for a new app for live performance as I want to move over to chromebooks/android. Feature wise, this app seems to cover most the needs with one caveat: A "mode" or "player theme" for live performance use.

Describe the solution you'd like A screen design which has both the playlist and the (synced) lyrics visible at the same time with optional playback controls visible.

Hey! Just wondering if this feature have been considered or not.

Thanks. :)

i have considered it and I implemented a rough version in a beta a few months ago, however I couldn't get it to work quite right so I scrapped the idea.

Ah, too bad... I guess my search continues.

Thanks for giving it a try!

I have started to create this player theme to add to a future version of apex music

this new version of apex music has been released (v4.70). this includes the live player theme. it should meet your requirements.

I have not had the opportunity to check it out, but thanks a lot for your effort! I will look into it when I can, hopefully soon.

Much appreciated.

I've checked it out and it's great!

The one feature missing for this to be truly useful is a switch somewhere to not have it autoplay the next song. Live, you want to always just cue, not autoplay, the push play when you are ready for the next song.

I can open a new/separate feature request if you want, and it is something you would consider adding. :)

I don't think this is something I will implement.
