Since we all sort of agreed to continue with the Bopla enclosure, it requires slightly different design approach to accommodate 2xAA :battery:. The new design will be 2 board design, the second board being a simple battery holder PCB with a connector wire extending to the main PCB.
Why do we need this?
Our initial design choice (also highly favored one by the community) was to use 2x AA batteries and this is the only way I could find to fit those inside the BoLink enclosure. Furthermore, having the battery on a separate PCB with detachable connector allows users to upgrade the design to a different battery chemistries. Any input voltage between 2-5.5V is suitable.

Once the main PCB is completed, proper 3D fitting of both parts with be carried out.
Acceptance Criteria:
The battery PCB and main PCB should be easy to attach/detach and fit inside the enclosure. The battery PCB will be installed on the bottom lid of the BoLink and it needs to be glued down with a Silastic or MS Polymer.
What can you do yourself and what do you need help with?
Initial 100x prototypes will be manually tested and installed for verification and quality control.
