Adapt to v3 API changes

In general I'm okay with this, but until we migrate the community network to V3, this can create confusion.

Note that V3 is backwards compatible with the V2 codec.

PCN is running v3 now, right? We have a v3 community cluster

Yeah but it's not community accessible yet. Let's keep this open for now.
