Firstly wanna say that's dope idea and implementation having fun playing as him! More C&C infantry would be even dopier(is that a word?), but that's not the point.
I've played him for some time and it feels disappointing how fast towers are gone. Wouldn't mind more time to recharge skill in exchange for them to stay bit longer.
Not exactly sure how charging works, in RA2 all shots are empowered as long as Tesla Trooper is "linked" to it with constant shot. But here it's always single shots. If it's 1 hit for 1 enhanced strike would be nice to have some indication of that, i.e. how many enhanced charges there is.
Besides that I can suggest some alts: charged shot for normal(longer you charge, bigger damage, but with cap of course), shock mines for alt. secondary, zap tackle for utility(shoulder tackle as mobility option, not large distance, but stunning on hit), shocksplosion for special - attack everyone with regular attack within range of eng's forcefield. Not much else coming to mind.
