DLL overrides broken and not needed anymore #28

Since OpenBeta 2.8.6.41363 (F-15E update), DCS no longer loads the main menu on my system using lutris-GE-Proton7-43 with the suggested DLL overrides (msdmo=n,wbemprox=n). They used to be required for the authentication to work, but now cause internal Lua errors when loading the UI (something about optionsDatabase_ and getVoiceChatDevices being nil). However, in this version of DCS, it launches and authenticates of all my modules correctly without these DLL overrides.

Is it worth to update the instructions to remove these DLL overrides, given they seem to not only be no longer needed, but also harmful? Or are they still needed in other Wine/Proton versions?

I can confirm, had dozen of issue to run winetricks etc with lutris (I was able to set installs but I never really know if lutris was doing anything). Than I changed from lutris-7.2-2 to lutris-GE-Proton8-12. checked startoption and realized that wbemprox=n was set. Startup worked Plugins installing aswell and my old rusty X-65F was recognized instantly. Succesfully crashed my F18 on our Server^^
