I will postpone this because I am unsure if I want to finish it anyways. Let's see what the future brings. For now, I am planning on publishing the first version of this package today

If someone wants to tackle this as part of hacktoberfest, you are free to do so :) You just need to "extract" the platform-specific codes to own packages and register them via appropriate pubspec entries
