No Data on Asus TF700T (Android 4.0.3): BlueSmirfGold, 3DR, APM2, Arducopter 2.6 (Mav 1.0) #26

I'm still in mailcontact, but perhaps someone has the same problem:

I'm bought on Android Store the app. After mailing with the developer i
uninstall the app and install it directly via link (version 9 with mavlink 1.0).

I'm using the new Asus TF700T with Android 4.0.03 and connect via BlueSmirfGold
to 3DR air-module. On APM2 is the arducopter 2.6 installed with the same 3DR
ait-module. Both 3DR and BT-module are set to 567k baud. The 3DR is like this
picture configured and connected to APM2:
http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/3DRadio#Configuring_using_the_Mission_P
lanner

Now, if I connect my 3DR-air-module for ground via FTDI-USB cable to my desktop
pc, I can select the USB-Cable-Com-Port with 57k in mission planner and can see
and set all data. It works fine.

Then I connect the 3DR-air-module for ground like the circuit diagram (from
gcs-copter) with BlueSmirfGold and an IC to create the exactly 3,3 power
supply. I've paired the FireFly.

Then I powered the 3DR and BT up. On 3DR the green led lights solid and the red
led blinks. The BT module lights red. When I start the app, I selected MAVLink.
The text "Protocol selected" shown, the green led by BT lights and the "Quad+
GCS Link" goes to task. If I press "Status", I don't get any data. In between
times (SOMETIMES) the green and red led on 3DR blinks. I think, I've lost the
connection. By click on "Readout" and then on "back" the program was closed by
himself or android.

Otherwise when the green led lights solid and the red led blinks for data, the
app don't show me any data...

The connection doesn't lost, when I use the 3DR at FTDI-USB cable this is not
happend. If I repower the 3DR module the green led is rapidly green solid and
the red is flashing.

I no longer know...

Now I connected the BT module directly to APM (without 3DR). I can connect to
BT but the program doesn't show any data. This one I tested APM/Arducopter
2.7.1 with Android 4.0.4 (Samsung S3) and 4.0.3 (Asus Tf700). :(

Hi,

After finishing this reply, I will be ordering some new hardware to let me test
things out on. Hopefully I can get things sorted out fairly quickly. Odds are
high that there is simply a bug in the software, which I can track down when I
get the new APM in.

I'll post when I have something.
Bart

I've got a similar problem running on Android 4.1.1 on a Xoom tablet. I'm
running 115 k baud with the Bluetooth device directly connected to the APM2
running v2.72 firmware. I can connect to my computer running the mission
planner via Bluetooth and everything is perfect. When I first start up the
Android app though, it force closes and I have to restart. Usually, but not
always, it let's me select the APM's Bluetooth device, at which time I can
select the protocol, it sees a heartbeat and connects. At this point most
things work - but I've never been able to get the HUD to work. I'm not sure why
but for some unknown reason and at random times it will then crash. If I try to
restart it, it immediately fails. At that point I have to force close the app
and clear all data and cache before I can restart it again. It did all of this
same stuff running on Android ICS before I upgraded to Ver 4.1.1

Some Updates, but not usable:

At time i will use Asus TF700 with Android 4.1.1. The copter-fw ist 2.8.1. The
connection seems to be stable now, but i can't get any data. If I start "read
outs" and click on "back", the program was closed by error...
