Update xorg7-intel #392

Closed Jello146 closed 5 years ago

Jello146 commented 5 years ago

Hello, Tell me how to upgrade the xorg7-intel package? The i965_dri.so and i915_dri.so libraries are very old. What is needed to update these libraries?

Doncuppjr commented 5 years ago

I think they are set up to pull from git, so just prt-get update -fr xorg-xf86-video-intel, update xorg7-intel

Hello! Update is not working:

prt-get update -fr xorg-xf86-video-intel

xorg-xf86-video-intel

I understand that's not your repo. Now I have issue with Intel 945 integrated graphics on Thinstation 6.1 - "The system was not able to go graphical". Thinstation 5.5 is working well on the same computer.

Please offer a solution!

I took this port with CRUX 3.5.

To update i965_dri.so and i915_dri.so, you need to update the port mesa3d. But he has a lot of dependencies.
