plymouth not working #758

I'm trying to use plymouth but looks like it is not working. Lightdm has already a dependency on plymouth, and tried even to include the lightdm. According to plymouth documentation the display-manager service needs to be changed to one that supports plymouth, e.g lightdm-plymouth.service. Based on my understanding lightdm as integrated in thinstation, is already updated to support plymouth. Still cannot get any spinning (default theme for plymouth) during boot. Any example or any idea how to debug?

No spinner yet for fastboot normal, but lots of mem works as does non-fastboot modes.

Interesting enough I do get the spinning circle during shutdown. Any example or any idea how to debug?
