I am using the latest build on my thin-clients. using with Chrome browser in a kiosk like configuration. Printers defined in my configuration are getting picked up by my machines on a part-time basis.

When the thin clients were older laptops, I have had no issues at all, the clients have been refreshed with the sites providing FAST i7 HP and Dell laptops for use on this project and when users go to print a document, no printers are available. I boot the SAME LAPTOP with the SAME thinstation image from USB stick the printers show up and are available. Why would booting from SSD on a faster machine prevent the discovery of the printers?

Thanks

Hmmm. Maybe the way the usb ports are treated? Is EFI Fastboot enabled in the firmware?(not TS fastboot). If so, try disabling it. Maybe also try CSM mode.
