  1. Lukas: my physic master's thesis were on modeling ground collectors for heat pumps aka how to get free geothermal energy to heat your home. It's brilliant tech, in my country soil freezes up to 1.2 meters during winter. So if it's horizontal pipe, it has to be below that point and everything (depending on soil in exact location) is fine. Yet it requires quite a bit of free land. Yet with vertical pipes you can literally do that in any location. You can heat up buildings sitting tight together in a city. While below ±10 meters depth, soil doesn't care at all if there is ice or desert on top of the soil. Heat is coming from earth's core. You dig a ±100m hole to the ground, put a pipe and collect that heat. You add a bit of electricity to run it all and you have 0 dependency on natural gas. And people know how to make electricity inside any country, there are so many ways from solar, wind & hydro all the way to nuclear. And that's just one type of heat source. You can do air-air, water-air systems too. Yet in my climate, temperature can go as low as -30C, so air-air may fail in such case, while it's affective only till -15C yet geothermal is not failing even at -50C :) put on top of energy efficiency better house isolations (there are constantly a ton of gov and individual investment) and you have less and less dependency on natural gas coming from unstable places of this world. —————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

It's a pretty long comment and has the word investment in it, hence I think it got caught.

Good point.

Ok, so if this is all "working as intended" then we can just close this issue, yeah?

I haven't had a chance to fully look at what exactly triggered it but I'll see if it should be adjusted
