Dimensions Needed for Donate Button image on Specific Web Pages #82

Brendan,

We are hoping to make changes to the website this week. These changes include editing the banner image on some key TC website pages and implementing the new donate button we have discussed in the past.

Last we spoke about it I believe you said a donate button image that we designed would be able to take the place of the existing donate button on the website. We will have this image ready for you very soon and hope to implement it this week.

What dimension requirements (if any) do you need from us in regards to this image? Also, we hope to implement this image in the header, sidebar and footer, but I would love to talk through where exactly we'd like those buttons to be positioned.

Please reply to me here or return my phone call when you can.

Best, Eddie

I'm not 100% remembering that convo re. a button (I was talking about an interstitial 'ad' that ran in past campaigns), but yes, you can use images as links, which has been done in the past by editors in sidebar locations. Just upload an image, then drag it into the text field, then surround it with the markdown link format. It would look something like:

[![donate button](http://image)](http://url)

As for dimensions, there are no technical requirements.

If you want to change the main nav with a donate button image, that's a more complex template change but IMO it's not going to do too much. It's small, and people are already accustomed to ignoring boilerplate with fantastic predictability. And it's hidden in mobile.
