[GUN] Error 0xc00000005 on Retail and GOG version? #1025

I downloaded retail version GUN from a torrent website, i can provide the download link if needed. After installing the game and the Widescreen Fix, every time i tried to open the game i got the following error:

It was fixed by removing the Widescreen Fix, so i decided to uninstall the game and look for another version that actually works with the Widescreen Fix, so again i downloaded the GOG version from a pirate website, as i read in the github page that the fix is proven to work on the GOG version, but i got the same problem as with the retail version.

are you using windows11 by any chance?

I am using Windows 11, and am having the issue with a legit Steam copy.

Edit: Didn't realize this was about a different game. I'm having this issue with GTA 3 Steam downgraded to 1.0

Okay. For those of you who still have this problem, I found the solution. Don't check the box to disable full screen optimizations.
