I'm in the same boat as you pal... It states on the PPSSPP website that his plugins are compatible but I can't find any info anywhere on how to enable them on... maybe it's PC only feature.
Download and extract the archive to the directory, where PPSSPP's memory stick is located (File -> Open Memory Stick).
What else do you want me to say?
OK so for android in my case, It's PSP/PLUGINS/File_Here but, is it supposed to load automatically once the rom is loaded because I don't see any changes. Also, does the GTAVCS included ultrawide or just 16:9?
Everything is loaded automatically, plugin path is the same on windows and android, just omit that memstick folder if you have it named differently on mobile.
PSP/PLUGINS/File_Here
The what? My archive includes PSP\PLUGINS\GTAVCS.PPSSPP.WidescreenFix\GTAVCS.PPSSPP.WidescreenFix.prx
and extra files for it. I don't know where you got the idea of PLUGINS/File_Here
.
does the GTAVCS included ultrawide or just 16:9?
Ultra wide is supported in VCS.
It still doesn't work... Odd. I have the USA version of the game as well.
Show/tell how your memstick folder looks like? There are no other reasons for plugins to not load, that I know of.
That seems correct, assuming PPSSPP settings point to that memstick path. What makes you think the plugin doesn't work? Are you sure of that?
Also, the files in the folder are dated 2022. That can't be right, since they were updated just the other day.
I tried the newest release on GitHub, same result. Sorry man, I'm clueless what could be the issue.
And what result is that? How does the game look?
Well, within the game nothing seems to have been effective
How so? HUD is obviously smaller in comparison to original.
If you expected the game to cover all screen, that's not for plugin to do, that's you have to set up in emulator settings.
By the way, I noticed that it is able to change the size of the hud with the .ini, but the wide screen still didn't work
I told you it has nothing to do with the plugin, screen related stuff is in emulator settings. The plugin is for the game.

Ah yes, I understand, but it still doesn't work correctly in the emulator settings. However, the hud is that size by default, perhaps it is the screen resolution that is different
What doesn't work? You keep saying something doesn't work when it does. If you change screen dimensions in game, it has to be restarted for plugin changes to take effect.

Ah, I see, that was it then, all you had to do was restart and it would be correct, thanks for the help
I was seeing it stretched, but that's it, I had to activate it to stretch and then restart. Thanks
Ok so I'm using PPSSPP Gold, not that it might matter and also I'm using my internal storage not an SD Card. I'll try again when I get home.
Ah now it works!
Settings should be edited right in .ini file?
How can I use WidescreenFix on PPSSPP Android? it just doesn't work
