[NFSC] VSync? #1460

Closed Krutonium closed 9 months ago

I was wondering if you could add a way to set a Maximum Framerate for NFS Carbon? I'm having an issue where I'm trying to play on SteamDeck, and everything is working perfectly (with a couple of mods to fix screen resolution and also the UI Aspect Ratio because it's wrong even with this mod) but it's also running anywhere between 140 and 700 FPS at any given time, which as you might guess is less than ideal for a portable gaming device.

Thanks for your time!

VSync as an option itself exists within the game's own options menu.

This and https://github.com/ThirteenAG/WidescreenFixesPack/issues/1464 are related.

It'll be on the todo list for sure.

I was unable to find it, and the game was ignoring every setting I could throw at it externally.

Then scroll down until you find it

Set Level of Detail to custom?

xan1242 commented 9 months ago

Ohhh, no no no, it's hidden by the console UI.

You do have the option. Press X on the controller and it'll show up.

As for the icons - I'll improve that in XtendedInput. That one is on me.

(This is because the PC UI has the button object whereas the console UI does not. This will require some UI hackery.)

@Krutonium So did you find it finally? This isn't an issue with WS Fix anyways, so I'll close it. (This is moreso XtendedInput's fault)

Ah yes okay, yep that worked perfectly! Thanks!
