NFS Most Wanted Screen Fix stops the game form launching, NFSMW V 1.5 #1500

Wanted to play in borderless, as I use my second screen to monitor my mom with dementia now and full screen will block the cameras from updating, so I installed the fix. Tried putting in manual resolution and turning off all the options in the first section, but game refuses to launch. Using Steam/EA version, Radeon 6700XT.

... are you talking about NFSMW (2012)? The widescreen fix is for the original NFSMW released in 2005. Perhaps you got the wrong game on accident.
