RE:REV2 not launching with .asi file #1542

so i have this issue where resident evil wont even start. i have checked which files makes the game crash and its the .asi file. now my steam version it works perfectly, but i cant seem to get it working on my portable version (files in screenshot)

is there a fix for this issue??? the "mod" doesnt work without the .asi file.

this is the steam version, its just an older version of the game. thats why its also portable.

all files (besides the uninstall) are the same compared to the current steam version.

Doesn't matter, support for any exe is possible but requires an extra amount of work I can't offer at the moment.

alright, is there maybe a way that i can make it compatible with my version on my own? do you maybe have the code for the .asi?

Unfortunately i have yet to get the time for it.

maybe your version is not yet v5.00...there is another source of RE Revelation 2 i have downloaded where its not 3DMGame or codex crack... this one is Cream and its V5.00 which is needed for the mod to work sir... so far i tested that one and its working and the stuttering is now more minimal unlike before...i can literally play it now at least unlike before where too much stuttering that is literally ANNOYING... though its a little bit of graphics adjustment until you find whats the correct pairing from adjusting Standard High Highest
