Latest Widescreen Fix For Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (Ubisoft Connect Version) #1555

i forgot to tell you, this is the chaos theory UPLAY / UCONNECT version. Crashdumps won't shows and it come up empty on the folder. Before you ask, this one is legit from UPLAY Giveaway. image

@fannkadhedia027 try running .exe directly. I had the same problem after I had freshly installed win11. Also running .exe directly (via explorer) resulted 0xc000007b error. The fix for me was:

  1. Rename c:\Windows\SysWOW64\D3DX9_43.dll to c:\Windows\SysWOW64\D3DX9_43.dll.bak a. Alternatively move all d3d* files from C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWow64 somewhere (backup & delete). I suggest creating a windows restore point 1st
  2. Install DirectX from Steam redist (you can download DirectX Jun2010 from Microsoft site)
